Mandvi and Mundra, Kutch District

Monthly Report-November-23

Sai’s angel Foundation have been working with the std. 6 to 8 and std. 10 in community centers of Mandvi-Mundra tahsils. In which computer, STEM activity and other extra activities have been conducted.

Community Learning Centre (Std.6 to 8)

 

For Students of 6 to 8 std of Mandvi-Mundra tahsils, classes been conducted in severel villages which Gundiyali,Mota Kandagara, Talwana and Bidada. In these center’s team of Sai’s Angel Foundation had given a knowledge about the exam related preparations and how to write in exams. Then after the examinations, exam paper solution also carried out.

After the examination, for the purpose of entertainment, Children had played antakshri and lot more different games.

At these Centers syllabus of various subjects like Gujarati, Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics and Science are being taught by team members. Environmental activities and debate on environmental safety is also done. At each CLC (Community Learning center) primary knowledge of computer is also given to students during November 2023. Education of math’s also learned by students, Gujarati grammar, general knowledge & how to make story from short point has been learned by students.

Community Learning Centre (Std.10)

In Talwana (Community Learning center) there is 20 students of 10th standard, And they are only indented & Educated, aiming for how to prepare well for board examination. In which they preparing for subjects like science, English, social science & mathematics. They are focused on easy understanding of these subjects & scoring high into these subjects. In this month assignment join also been done by them and students. Team & Students doing very hard work for the exam purpose.

STEM Activity

This activity was organized for the students of class 5 to 8 during November month of 2023. In which a total of 100 student approximately  have participated. Within which children were divided into groups of 3 and 4.

 OBSERVATION

Whenever ask any questions related to science to students of Kandagara, Talwana and Bidada, they answered it without any fear and hesitations.

Then after we have introduced STEM to students, and students appears enthusiastic after knowing what is is STEM. We have made students familiar to the STEM kit. And students have observed kit and used it in practical work.

Before magnetism classes students don’t know about attractions and unattractiveness. After our practical classes they know well about magnetism.

Questions of students

•  Sir\Mam what will do you teach us?
• What kind of magnates in our earth?
• How we can get current in potatoes?

Digital Literacy Activity

            On each CLC, knowledge of computer is given to student on compulsory basis. They learn about the various parts of it. And we have two computers in our Bidada center so students of Bidada center are getting practice knowledge about computer very well. Students have  learned about starting on and shut down of computer,  saving various files, paint & word pad typing practice also learned by students, 30 students has taken part in these computer sections.

 OBSERVATION

• In computer literacy, Students have operate computer first time, they have lot of confusion about it.
• Sometime students know computer but whenever we ask any questions about it they got confusion, So that they cant do some practical task because of their confusion

Extra Activity

India is Secular & democratic nation various festival are calibrated and enjoy hearty in India and Deepawali is on of the biggest festival in India..  on this Deepawali carious extra-curricular activity created by team & celebrated this  festival these activities including latter writing, essay writing, wishing and making and rangoli making ins also done and festival is celebrated very joyfully.
