COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTRE – VADODARA AUGUST 2024 MONTH REPORT
August Month : Summary:
Students participated in educational activities, including education learning, craft, English language, and microscope workshops. Children learned through play, making boats and crafts with natural materials, and developed artistic skills. English language sessions covered essential communication skills, including greetings and personal introductions. Microscope workshops provided hands-on experience, exploring various objects and samples. These interactive sessions fostered innovation, resourcefulness, and confidence in the children.
Extra Activities on Saturday
Activities Conducted:
- Expert Session: The children learnt about the boat and its song, and then guided them in creating boat-inspired crafts using Abhala, Tikdi, and colouring paper, fostering creativity and imagination.
- Best of the West Activity: The children created many design using Neem and peepal leaves on coloring paper. And where children transform waste materials into a functional paper stand.
- English Expert Session: An interactive English language session, teaching children essential communication skills, including greeting words, days of the week, months of the year, and personal introductions.
Microscope Workshop: Children explored a range of objects, from leaves and salt to insect parts, under a microscope at varying zoom levels, discovering hidden details and textures. The interactive session, featuring samples like butterfly wings and animal bones, taught kids hands-on about microscopes and their uses.
