Help Desk – Awareness on Government Schemes November Month
Overview:
The Help Desk for Government Schemes was established to raise awareness and help urban slum residents in areas like Mujmahuda Slum and Vuda Houses, Khiskoli Circle, Vadodara, access welfare schemes.
Objective:
In line with our mission, we propose the establishment of a Help Desk for Government Schemes to create awareness and facilitate access to various welfare schemes for people living in urban slums around Mujmahuda Slum and Vuda Houses, Khiskoli Circle, Vadodara.
The primary objective of this Help Desk is to bridge the information gap and ensure that the eligible beneficiaries from urban slums are aware of and can avail of government welfare schemes.
Activities Conducted This Month:
- Visited Common Service Centers (CSCs) to understand various schemes and their operations.
- Conducted team training by an expert on government schemes.
- Completed a survey of 78 households.
- Linked 12 beneficiaries to schemes: 9 Ayushman Cards, 2 PM Vishwakarma forms, and 1 Manav Kalyan Yojana profile (pending form acceptance when the scheme reopens).
