Semester I of the Vadiksha SmartCamp Project at this school was inaugurated on July 7, 2017. The subjects covered are Gujarati, English and Mathematics.

The program was highly satisfactory as confirmed by the monthly Formative Assessments carried out. ​

Following activities were carried out:

• Notebooks were distributed to all the students.
• Educational trip to the Regional Community Science Centre, Subhanpura was organised. Students enjoyed various models and demonstrations at the science centre.
• Awareness excursion trip to the Akshay Patra Foundation, Gotri was organised. Students had a good understanding of the hygienic conditions under which their mid-day meals are prepared.
• An essay competition on the trips was organised.
• Use of computer for content delivery both in the SmartBoard classes as well in the Computer labs.
• Setting up Choomantar Reading Rooms.
• Eye Check up camp was held on Oct 14, 2017.
• L&T employees through “Daan Utsav” donated eye glasses that were distributed free to the students.
